Welcome to Covenant Presbyterian Church of Augusta, Georgia!  The church is located at 3131 Walton Way.

 Covenant has been ministering to the community since 1959. We are a congregation open to anyone who wishes to worship with us. We seek to meet people with the compassion of Christ, understanding that people come to Christ from many different directions. Our goal is to welcome one another in love, respecting each other’s journey, and learning together the fullness of Christ.

We have ministries for all ages, from young children to senior adults. 

We act on our commitment to serve human needs in the local community and in the world at large.

 In keeping with the tradition of the PC(USA), all members are “ministers” and candidates for service in any capacity in the life of the church. 

Mission Statement

The mission of Covenant Presbyterian Church is to glorify and enjoy God, to proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ, and to express the presence and power of the Holy Spirit. In response to the love of God, we will worship God, educate ourselves, care for each other, and serve our neighbors in the community and the world.

Worship is central to our weekly activities. Our Church School is for all ages and begins on Sunday mornings at 9:45.

Our Congregation Care and Local and Global ministries teams minister to our congregation, our city, and the world.

An Invitation: Covenant Presbyterian Church is a community of faith following the path of discipleship as laid down by Jesus Christ. As such, we strive to keep open the doors of our community to any and all who are seeking a church home. We welcome anyone seeking to commit anew to Jesus Christ, recommit to Jesus Christ, or simply find a place to practice the faith in a new home.
