Join us for worship this Sunday in the sanctuary or online at 10:00 a.m. The service will be streamed here and a podcast of the sermon will be available after the service. American Sign Language interpretation is available in the sanctuary and online. Childcare is available beginning at 9:00 a.m. Sunday school classes for all ages are normally held after worship from 11:15 a.m. to noon.
Join us on Wednesday, Oct. 14 in the Fellowship Hall. Dinner is at 5:30 and our program begins at 6:15. Dr. Simon Medcalf, Professor at Augusta University, will share with us about his research around white nose syndrome in bats and infant mortality in Georgia. We will contemplate the ways that God's Creation is interconnected, and how we might be caretakers of Creation as we maintain and honor those connections. Childcare is available.
Matthew 25 Sunday
On Sunday, October 18, we will renew our commitment to the eradication of poverty and the work of the Matthew 25 Task Force during our worship service. On Sunday afternoon, we will gather in the Fellowship Hall to view a 26-minute film called Without a Roof. This film explores homelessness in Savannah and the concept of housing first. After the film, we will have a panel discussion featuring local advocates. Please bring a friend and join us as we recommit ourselves to this important work in our community.
